West Palm Beach, Florida is rich in cultural attractions. You will find a host of museums, art galleries, performing arts and music-related events. Here are some favorite destinations for culture in this vibrant city.

Kravis Center for the Performing Arts

Hosting performances of jazz, gospel, classical and dance, the Kravis Center for the Performing Arts is the most popular spot in West Palm Beach for musical and outdoor concerts. Such stars as Michael Bublé, the cast of “Cats” and William Shatner have appeared here.

The Norton Museum of Art

The museum had its founding in 1941 by Ralph Hubbard Norton and Elizabeth Norton; its collection encompasses 19th century and 20th-century painting masterpieces and sculpture by European and American artists. In addition to this, it maintains a collection of bronze artifacts and Chinese Jade that have been considered among the best throughout the globe. The museum will be temporarily closing mid-July 2018 for some renovations and expansions, it is expected to re-open in February 2019.

Antique Row

Antique shops, as well as art galleries, define this charming district; find antiques from the 17th to the 20th century here. Decorative and fine arts and period decor, as well as modern furnishings, await browsers and shoppers. You’ll also find award-winning dining in this eclectic district.

Mounts Botanical Garden

Located near the airport, this garden oasis features 14 acres of gardens that include a butterfly garden, bromeliads, a vegetable garden, fruit trees, and abundant flowering trees and shrubs.

Art Walk and Art Night Out

Edgy art galleries are part of the Northwood Village neighborhood. Find shops here as well. Visitors can enjoy monthly events, such as the Art Walk and Art Night Out as well as diverse food trucks.

Live Music and Clubs

Aside from concerts at the Kravis Center for the Performing Arts, West Palm Beach has a host of clubs where you can enjoy live music. The C Street Cafe hosts jazz on Thursdays and a diverse lineup of artists on weekends. Enjoy music at the Blind Monk several times during the week; they also have a Sunday Brunch. Bistro Ten Zero One offers live music and dining as well. In addition to these choices, other restaurants and clubs provide live music on weekends as well as several days during the week.
