The City of Angels is known for its glitz and glam. The city is home to several actors and actresses and some of the wealthiest people in America. This rings true for Los Angeles hotels too. Here the top five luxury hotels in Los Angeles.

Hotel Bel-Air

This hotel is a part of the Dorchester Collection of luxury hotels in the world’s biggest cities. Hotel Bel-Air is set off in 12 acres of beautiful gardens and offers spa relaxation with modern amenities. The Presidential Suite is a private structure set apart from the hotel. It offers a private pool, complimentary flowers and champagne upon arrival and modern technology hookups at a $17,000 and up per night price tag. Regular room rates start at $700 per night. The hotel features amenities such as a Wolfgang Puck restaurant, five star spa, complimentary car service and a pool.

Mr. C Beverly Hills

This elegant hotel is all about European glamour and modern luxuries. The Cipriani family, based in Italy, owns Mr. C hotels all over the world. The hotel has extraordinary views of the Hollywood hills and a resort-like pool area with bar service at your fingertips. Room rates start at $300 depending on your package. Their C Suite’s are between 800-1,100 square feet and offer private balconies, a private bar and library, and Jacuzzi tubs.

Beverly Wilshire Four Seasons

The preferred hotel of Hollywood’s biggest stars, the Beverly Wilshire is just steps from luxury shopping on Rodeo Drive. The hotel’s Petit CUT restaurant is one of America’s best restaurants and their spa is frequented by celebrities. The most expensive Penthouse Suite offers 5,000 square feet on a private floor for the hotel’s elite guests for $25,000 per night. In room amenities include panoramic views of Beverly Hills, media room, show kitchen, stocked refrigerator and five hours of personal services each week including hair, makeup, spa services and personal training. Normal room rates start at $700 per night.

The Beverly Hills Hotel

Also part of the Dorchester Collection, “The Pink Palace” features old Hollywood glamour on 12 acres of tropical gardens. Their famous Polo Lounge features jazz musicians every night, or take a dip in their palm tree covered pool that has been the setting for several classic films. The most expensive Presidential Bungalows run at $17,000 per night for a private pool with a waterfall, exercise area, private courtyard, three bedrooms, outdoor shower, a theater and a personal chef. Regular rooms start at $600 per night.

The Peninsula Beverly Hills

The Peninsula is like no other hotel. Anontio Castilla de la Gala plays piano in the lobby in the evenings and they offer packages such as their “Princess for a day” package that includes a Rolls Royce chauffeured shopping trip in Beverly Hills for kids. In the center of a tropical garden, The Peninsula is famous for its Belvedere terrace restaurant, Roof Garden Dining and a pool overlooking Los Angeles. Their most expensive Peninsula Villa Suite features a grand staircase leading up to a three bedroom villa with private hot tub, canopy beds and a complimentary luxury car to use at $9,700 per night. Regular room rates start at $600 per night.
